PROJECTS

Educare:

  • In the year 2020, value education classes were conducted for around 15 women workers in the first quarter
  • Providing support to Each One Educate One Foundation in India, and also towards Sri Sathya Sai Sathyaniketanam Educational campus at Hassan district, Karnataka in South India managed by the Prashanthi Balamandira Trust, Chikkaballapur district, Karnataka

Medicare:

  • About 240 people provided with medical assistance (including Sai Vibrionics) since 2020, out of which six people received medicines for diabetes on a regular basis for past two years
  • Medical assistance was also provided to a Sri Lankan expat pregnant woman who was stranded here due to lockdown. Nutritional food supplements and comfortable clothing were provided to her until she reached Sri Lanka
  • Yoga, relaxation exercises, meditation sessions and physiotherapy sessions were conducted for the women workers
  • Providing support to Sri Sathya Sai Sarla Memorial Hospital which is a multi-disciplinary 300-bedded Hospital established at Muddenahalli, Karnataka, India

PROJECTS

Sociocare:

  • Since 2020, nearly 8,000 people were served with snacks, fruits and refreshments by the youth from Middle East. This service is conducted twice a month on a regular basis. It proved to be extremely helpful to the hard-working blue collared workers considering the extreme climate conditions of the place here
  • Close to 11,000 meals have been served to the needy under this One Meal a Day (OMAD) Volunteers are able to serve at least one meal a day for the needy, hence celebrate the opportunity to love and serve
  • Since June 2021, youth have collaborated with Food ATM, a commercial enterprise dedicated to feeding blue-collared workers with three meals a day at reduced affordable rates. About 19,000 meals have been provided in collaboration with Food ATM
  • The Sri Sathya Sai Love Kit (SSSLK) distribution is the most gratifying service initiative, that has been happening relentlessly, right from the beginning. Around 3,600 people have been provided with these kits since 2020. These kits contain essential groceries and toiletries lasting a month for a person. During the winter season, blankets and warm clothing are also distributed to the homeless and needy. volunteers from the Middle East have been providing these essentials to needy individuals which include people living in the desert, fishermen, boatmen, lady-taxi drivers, etc. This initiative in particular has been financial support to these people helping them save and send a significant amount of money to their families who reside in their native countries
  • Similar kits were also delivered to a needy community residing in Uganda. This initiative was one of its kind, transcending geographical boundaries and touching the lives of the many people
