Projects at Munich

  • Service activities are conducted in elder care homes on a regular basis

Projects at Grafrath

  • Visits to elder care homes are regularly organised to provide monthly financial assistance for medication and rent
  • Support is extended to refugees from Somalia, Chechenia, and Afghanistan by providing basic necessaries, linguistic support, and education
  • Psychological support and mediation for dispute settlement is provided for the needy
  • Injured stray dogs and cats are treated and given to families who are interested in domesticating pets
  • 150 homeless children are provided meals twice a week. School breakfast programme is organised every day, by the volunteers in Grafrath, at one of the underprivileged areas in Munich
  • Growing to be God programme is conducted for children to nurture moral values.

SOCIOCARE

  • Translate in German language and publish Spiritual literature
  • The team also works on translating, editing, designing and posting 30 booklets
  • Web design for the German section on is completely managed by the team
  • Currently, the team consists of 19 members of which 16 are serving actively: three translators for books; seven translators for booklets; one translator for monthly discourses; three editors; one graphic designer; one speaker for audio books; one web designer; three transcriptionists; and one team reporter. OM-Verlag GmbH has taken legal responsibility for the German section of all the above work

  • ‘Prema-Dhaara’, a German association based in Munich, support the Sri Sathya Sai Ananyaniketanam – an educational institutional in Udupi, Karnataka, South India
